Bullis Bromeliads, Inc. has been growing bromeliads for over 25 years. Harvey Bullis, Jr. founded the business in 1977 as Key Biscayne Bromeliads on less than an acre of land. In 1978, Mr Bullis and his son expanded the nursery with a 2nd move to Princeton, Florida, where Bullis Bromeliads is now located on 17 acres and has 9 acres of production.
Patricia Bullis, working with her father-in-law, developed an extensive hybridizing program. As a result, we've introduced many new and exciting varieties to our landscape clients, architects, garden centers, botanical gardens and interiorscapers over the last two decades. We have hundreds of different varieties growing to ensure that customers will find what they are looking for, and when they need it.
Our specialty is in large Aechmeas and colorful Neoregelias. We always have in stock bromeliads for every light condition imaginable, from full sun to deep shade. Bromeliads are well known for their easy care and long lasting beautiful flowers, but there are many varieties with incredible foliage that make excellent landscape accents.
You'll find our plants used as decoration and in the landscapes of:
to name just a few of many prominent locations.
We're also very proud that display's from Bullis Bromeliads have won many awards, including five-time winner of "Best of Show" at the annual Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and a participant at the Chelsea Flower Show in London, England.
When you're ready to spice up your landscape, put some color in the interior or add a splash to all that "green"... visit us at Bullis Bromeliads.
